Keep Your Password Safe
It’s super important that your password is a secret. It’s like the keys to your house, or in this case the keys to all your special ROBLOX stuff. What is a password scam? A password scam is when someone tries to get your password in a sneaky way. Usually try to be your friend and offer you help of some kind. Or maybe they threaten or bully you. People can also change your password if you stay logged in at your computer when you are not there. The person who gets your password may not be nice! They might… A password scammer is not a scary hacker. It doesn’t take any computer skills to do this crime. Most scammers look just like the other users so it’s best to be careful and not tell anyone your password, no matter what. em What can you do? Your password should not be one of the following things… your first name, last name, username, birthday, zip code, sisters name, brothers name, or just asdfg or 123456. Verified Sparkle Places - Fantastic Release
Another great ROBLOX release is upon us! What’s new? strong Places and models now work a lot more like our other asset types. They appear on the catalog, they appear in your My Stuff section of your profile, and users can comment on them. There will be additional improvements in these areas in future releases. strong Users now have the option to verify their email addresses. You can do this by clicking the “Verify Email” link on your Edit Profile page. A message will be sent to your account’s current email address. Clicking on the link in the email will let you verify your email address. Email verification is completely optional - you don’t need to give us a real email address in order to play ROBLOX. More Egg Hunt Hints
Our last scheduled Roblox egg hunt is running right now! Eggs will be raining from the sky until approximately 3pm PST, 6pm EST. At this point, everyone has figured out how most of the eggs work. Here’s some hints for capturing some of the harder ones: strong This haughty egg won’t let you pick it up unless you look like royalty. That means you need to be wearing a crown of some sort. You can use the strong This giant egg falls from the sky, crushing anything it lands on. The trick to getting this egg is to have patience. Every 30 seconds or so the egg will diminish in size. When it gets to be the same size as the other eggs, it is safe to pick up. Trying to pick it up before it gets small is not recommended. strong This egg flies around and shoots homing rockets at random players. Sometimes it will fade out of existence briefly, create a huge explosion, then pop back. This egg can either be very easy or very hard to get, depending where you are. If it is on the ground, or if you are in a level with jetboots or teleporting tools, it’s easy. If it’s hovering 50 studs above the baseplate and you have no way of reaching it, it’s hard. strong Ok, so it doesn’t really look like an egg. It’s actually a 20-sided die. Egg Madness!
Here’s a scorecard for our egg hunt thus far. Over 7000 players have successfully located at least one egg. The next egg hunt will take place tomorrow. Check out my previous post to see the schedule. strong strong The above eggs appear in the “Recently Updated” section of the Catalog, but don’t actually exist. I put them in to fake out people who were watching my every move as I was setting up the Egg Hunt contest. This contest goes to 11. strong The Touching the egg makes it turn red, and then it drops a chessboard on you. The board shows a position where white can force a win in 2 moves. Say the winning move aloud, and the board and egg will turn green. Now you can pick up the egg. There are a couple of different chess puzzles, but each user will always see the same one. So if you can’t figure it out in-game, you can think about it for a while and be ready when it appears again. strong a The best way to get this egg is to be in a map with some friendly people who will help you out. You can also look for groups of them, that way everyone in your posse can touch each of the sharing eggs and everyone can get one. - Telamon a

Mt. ROBLOX Diaries
Travelogue to strong It’s getting late; we should take one picture then turn in. Let me climb up there now. strong strong strong strong strong strong And directly after this picture of us on top of the mountain was taken, a stray teapot injured our photographer, Masterchiefy, and he had to be airlifted to Chel’s Seattle Grace Hospital. The paramedic said he will make a full recovery, and was lucky to have been with other people when this happened. We are going to head down now, and we will visit Masterchiefy at the hospital. We have to rush, so I’m going to end here for today. strong If I were to rate the time I had at Mt. Roblox, forgetting the tragic event that occurred, I would give it a 7 out of 10, because although I had a great time, the idea got boring quickly, and took a very long time to do.
