On March 12th, we were excited to invite millions of people in the Roblox community to take part in a massive, first-of-its-kind event in partnership with Warner Bros.’ Ready Player One. The Roblox Ready Player One Adventure challenged players across the world to discover three hidden keys and unlock a series of gates across four secret games. Whoever completed the entire adventure first would be declared the winner and the recipient of a unique, highly coveted golden Dominus hat: the Dominus Venari, or “Master of the Hunt.”

In just 22 days, this remarkable feat was accomplished by r0cu (you can read the full recap of his victory in this blog post). On any given day during those three weeks, we saw hundreds of thousands of players racing against each other, forming teams, or sharing ideas about where the keys could be located. Collectively, players spent over 2.9 billion minutes gaining high scores, conquering hordes of enemies, winning crazy dance battles, and completing unforgivably brutal obstacle courses to attain glory. Make no mistake, this event required an incredible amount of teamwork, skill, and dedication. But that’s only a fraction of the story…
Now that the event has wrapped up, we wanted to share some of the exciting stats we helped achieve in the infographic below. This event was an enormous undertaking—not to mention, a huge passion project for the Roblox team and community developers—and we hope you all had a lot of fun figuring out the clues and tackling new challenges together with your friends.
