7th Annual Bloxy Awards: Nominees & Charities

Our biggest awards show, and one of our biggest annual events, is about to get even bigger. Soon, you and your fellow Robloxians will be able to enjoy the Bloxys within a shared, custom-made Roblox experience. We’ll have more information on what that looks like in the coming days, so stay tuned. In the meantime, we’ve got some other exciting Bloxy-related news to announce, so let’s dive right in.

When are the Bloxys?

Mark your calendars because the 7th Annual Bloxy Awards will be held on Saturday, March 21st at 12:00 pm PST! You don’t have to wait that long to join the festivities, though. We’re opening the doors 24 HOURS EARLY so you can hang out, have fun, and count down the seconds until the world premiere of the Bloxys alongside your fellow party-goers. Can’t make the premiere? No worries. We’ll be re-running the show all day, every day through March 30th. After that, it’ll be uploaded on YouTube for everyone to enjoy.

How many awards will there be?

The winners will be chosen from 30 categories—14 of which will be featured during the show, the other 16 in a forthcoming blog post—representing a wide breadth of creative and technical achievements, as well as top community contributors. Check out the full list of nominees at the end of this blog post. 

Show your support!

That brings us to one more exciting bit of news. We’re very proud to announce that this year’s Bloxys will feature exclusive, community-made items supporting two nonprofit organizations: Make-A-Wish and Code.org. All net proceeds generated by the sale of these items (up to $100,000) will go directly to these organizations and their worthy causes. We’d like to thank creators EvilArtist, Beeism, and supernob123 for helping to make this possible. All six items will be available on March 20th.
