Today we’re super excited to announce the dates and locations for Roblox Developers Conference 2017, the ultimate gathering of the most prolific creators in the community. This year is going to be bigger, better, and Blox-ier than ever before, with TWO conferences happening back-to-back in both the United States and the United Kingdom (yes, we’re headed overseas!).
We’re pulling out all the stops this year to treat developers to a jam-packed weekend filled with tons of surprises and in-depth discussions about all things Roblox. As a special thank you—and to help make your travel plans worry-free—we’re providing all attendees with catered food, snacks, and beverages for free AND offering discounted hotel rates in San Jose, CA and London, UK. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see the future of the Imagination Platform with the rest of the developer community.

RDC 2017 – United States
WHEN: Friday, July 21 – Sunday, July 23
WHERE: San Jose Marriott in San Jose, California
WHAT: Now in its third year, RDC has drawn hundreds of the best Roblox developers from around the world seeking to hone their talent and creativity. This exclusive, invite-only event offers creators a unique opportunity to dive deeper into the fundamentals of game development, from design to monetization, and ultimately help shape the future of the Imagination Platform™.
Tickets will be $50.00 for full access to the conference. Accompanying parent passes are $30.00. We’re also offering a special discounted price of $60.00 per night on hotel reservations at the San Jose Marriott.
RDC 2016
RDC 2017 – United Kingdom
WHEN: Friday, August 4 – Sunday, August 6
WHERE: YouTube Space London in London, UK
WHAT: For the first time ever, we’re inviting the developer community to share this space with some big-name YouTube influencers and gain exclusive access to a variety of informative sessions. We’ll be kicking off a Roblox Tournament on Saturday, featuring non-stop gaming action with various creators from the community and UK YouTube personalities! Then, on Sunday, we’ll be diving into a fun Game Jam session where you’ll get to team up with other creators to build a new Roblox game in a limited amount of time.
Tickets for the RDC UK Game Jam will be $50.00. Accompanying parent passes are $30.00. We’re also offering a special discounted price of $60.00 per night at the Hilton London Euston for easy access to the conference.

How to register
Since its inception, RDC has played a critical role in helping us connect with the developer community on a more personal level. We’re looking to invite even MORE creators this year, but space is limited AND it’s on a first-come, first-serve basis. The first round of invites will be going out to developers within the next few weeks. As space becomes available, we’ll provide an application to request an invitation on the DevForum.
We can’t wait to catch up with some familiar faces, as well as meet some of the newest up-and-coming developers at RDC this year.
