Remember way back in March when we launched the program that would have actual ROBLOX builders and developers run ROBLOX booths at events around the world? Well, with your help, we did it — hitting 24 events across 19 major metro areas in the United States, Canada, and the U.K. throughout the bulk of 2014 in the process. It was a whirlwind of fun that let hundreds of you help us demonstrate what ROBLOX is all about to a lot of new people. We’re winding down our events for the year, but we have one left to go this weekend in Toronto, Canada, and we’re already getting the wheels in motion for an exciting 2015.

One of the recent events where ROBLOX — both staff and community members — had a presence was the SoCal Maker Con in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Times was there to document the event, and ultimately ended up publishing a video that features a number of voices of ROBLOX. Take a look.

This weekend, gorroth (of our Client engineering team) and VaioBot (of our Customer Service team) will be heading to Toronto for the final Maker Faire appearance on our agenda for 2014. With 25 community participants, it’s going to be a bustling booth. If you didn’t sign up to help staff the booth, don’t worry; you can still come and hang out with us. (Plus, we’ll have cards that you can redeem for an exclusive virtual top hat and 300 ROBUX.)
