ROBLOX staff and members of our building/development community will, once again, be descending on a Maker Faire this weekend — this time in Atlanta. The event takes place on October 4th and 5th, and will feature such well known names as TheNickmaster21, Nexx, Maxxz, and masterbeyblade21 hanging out alongside our own Gemlocker and oLEFTo at the ROBLOX booth. As always, if you’re in the area and choose to stop by, we’ll give you a code that you can redeem for a small stack of ROBUX and an exclusive Maker Faire top hat!

If you’re in the Atlanta area, this is your chance to come out and celebrate the makings of many amazing things, while helping us introduce ROBLOX to an awesome community of builders and makers. Let’s run through the basics, just so we’re clear:

• Who: A bunch of ROBLOX game developers, as well as our own staff members Gemlocker and oLEFTo
• What: The ROBLOX booth at the Atlanta Maker Faire (the event is free)
• Where: Downtown Decatur (the event is outdoors, much like a street fair)
• When: October 4th and 5th (Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET and Sunday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. ET)
• Why: Because sharing ROBLOX with a community of creative minds is awesome, and you get the opportunity to meet experienced ROBLOX builders and developers

This is one of many stops we’re making around the world this year — and there are still more exciting Maker Faires and similar events approaching. While we’re sending members of our staff to every Maker Faire that gets enough community interest, we’re ultimately leaving it up to our builders and developers to staff our booths. After all, you’re the ones creating amazing content with our tools, and you are the best at showing people what ROBLOX is all about.
