Unless you’ve been basking in the shadow of a very large rock all year, you know we’ve been upping our real-world presence by appearing at Maker Faires around the country (plus England!) in order to spread awareness about ROBLOX among a global community of creators. We’ve already reached hundreds of thousands of creative minds, and now we’re about to reach a whole lot more. Arguably the biggest Maker Faire of the year outside of the Bay Area is known as the World Maker Faire, and takes place in none other than the Big Apple, New York City. We’re sending a bunch of admins to this Maker Faire, as well as inviting some of the most famous game creators on our platform. Oh, and if you stop by, you’ll earn yourself the awesome hat at right.

World Maker Faire will feature more ROBLOX admins than any other non-Bay Area event this year — including autoconfig, ChiefJustus, david.baszucki, geekndestroy, JackInTheBlox, JediTkacheff, majortom4321, NobleDragon, ReeseMcBlox, SolarCrane, Sorcus, Squidcod, and UristMcSparks (whose silky-smooth voice you have probably been hearing while watching our ROBLOX U tutorials). They will be joined by hot-shot developers loleris (flying in from Europe!) and daxter33. If you’re in New York, come by our booth, meet all these folks, and check out what’s happening.

Though this will be the the second-biggest Maker Faire we take part in, we’re not even close to being done with our presence at these events — we’re still waiting to see if our community of ROBLOX booth runners will get enough support to send more admins to Maker Faires in Atlanta and Toronto, as well as SoCal Maker Con, to name a few.
