Virtual BLOXcon is now just one week away! The online event will give everyone in the ROBLOX community a chance to experience our annual fan conventions via a livestream from ROBLOX HQ, recorded BLOXcon footage, and a lineup of great games. On top of that, ROBLOX staff will be playing games and chatting with you all day, so you could very well get to meet us – virtually, at least.

Here are the important details:

• Who: ROBLOX staff and you
• What: online BLOXcon fan convention
• Where: from ROBLOX.com/bloxcon to your desktop, laptop or mobile device
• When: Saturday, September 21st (starting at roughly 9 a.m. Pacific Time)
• Why: participate in Q&A, play games and chat with us, experience BLOXcon, watch presentations and demos, and more
• How: simply visit ROBLOX.com/bloxcon (it’s not yet active, but will be next week); this will be the Virtual BLOXcon “hub,” where you’ll find the livestream, game contest winners, recorded content, merchandise store and more

As you may recall, we recently ran a Virtual BLOXcon Game Contest. The submission and voting periods ended late this week, so we’ll be reaching out to the winners of the contest – whose games will be featured at Virtual BLOXcon – in the near future. Thanks to everyone who participated in the contest, whether you submitted an entry or made your voice heard during the voting period!

Next week, we’ll be publishing a list of ROBLOX staff who will be participating in Virtual BLOXcon so you can do your best to track them down in game. We’ll also be launching a new merchandise store — if you meet a certain spending threshold on shirts, earbuds, hoodies, pins and other ROBLOX schwag during the event, you’ll receive a Virtual BLOXcon body package (pictured at right) only available during the event for your character!
