ROBLOX Infographic ThumbnailWe just passed the halfway mark of 2012, making it high time to look back and evaluate how much content ROBLOX users have generated and played so far this year. The graphic in this blog post shows the growth in games created, assets created (all user-generated, non-place content), game plays and game-play hours logged for the first halves of the past three years.

ROBLOX User-generated Content Infographic

ROBLOX users have generated more than 3.8 million games (79% increase over H1 2011) and more than 8.2 million assets (13% increase over H1 2011) so far in 2012. Please note that games created only includes games that were modified at least seven days after creation.

On top of that, users have logged more than 424 million game plays (49% increase over H1 2011) and 123 million game-play hours (74% increase over H1 2011). Needless to say, we’re impressed with the sheer volume of user-generated games and content, and ROBLOX users are exploring it more now than ever before. Let’s see if we can make the second half of 2012 even more content-rich than the first.
