It’s December–the last month of the year, heralding the coming of winter. And with the cold times, we retreat to the warmth of our warm memories and warm foods. Also blankets are nice.

Gold-Covered Chocolate Coin – It’s like gold, but it tastes better! And seriously, unwrapping the foil is pretty much the most fun thing ever. Except for eating it. That wins.

A Lotta Latke – This is a traditional pancake-style dish (and favorite of Hanukkah-celebrators), made out of potatoes. Why does it seem so light? Three words: “zero”, “gravity”, “potatoes”.

Snow Globe of Childhood Memories – Gazing into this globe of snow, you can see all the happiness of holidays past. Either that or a little snowman guy.
